Gwyneth and Gucci president and CEO of the Americas Federico Turconi (both in Gucci) threw a chic dinner in the Hamptons.
The sun came out for a glorious day between downpours in Amagansett last month, shining and then setting on a lavish garden-party dinner thrown jointly by goop and Gucci. The evening overflowed with breathtaking summer outfits, delicious food (from chef Mattia Agazzi of the famous Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills), glowing skin (the new Youth-Boost Peptide Serum had clearly already made its way onto some of the faces), and good humor all around, particularly during the many impromptu toasts.
Hosted by Gwyneth (in a chic Gucci two-piece set and rumpled, beachy waves) and her longtime friend, stylist Elizabeth Saltzman (in a sleek navy Gucci sweater), the party was a small family-and-friends affair: Apple Martin (in G. Label, with her shoes and bag by Gucci), Brad Falchuk (in Gucci), and Blythe Danner (in a Gucci dress and scarf) mixed with friends like Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld (she in G. Label), Jodie Comer (in a Gucci top, pants, and sandals), Jimmy Fallon (in Gucci), and goop Podcast cohost and poet Cleo Wade (in Gucci).

They were there to celebrate Gucci’s Summer Stories collection and the new, much-talked-about Youth-Boost Peptide Serum. The renowned plastic surgeon Julius Few, MD, who worked on the serum with goop, found himself mobbed at the party—everybody had skin questions, and no one could wait to try the serum. “The results surprised even me and my team when we conducted the clinical trials,” he said.
“I couldn’t believe the before-and-after pictures you were texting me,” recalled Gwyneth.
“It was pretty incredible,” he agreed. “Nobody in the office could believe them.”

As the sun set and candles lit up the long table strewn with flowers, summer vegetables, cute conversation cards (e.g., “First job?”), and dinnerware from the Gucci Décor Herbarium collection, guests sat down to a locally sourced Italy-in-Amagansett-themed dinner from chef Agazzi. Over artichoke salad, risotto, baked cod, and plenty of champagne, the toasts began. Gwyneth and Gucci president and CEO of the Americas Federico Turconi toasted the party together, Gwyneth laughed about having been “a ’90s It girl,” and Danner toasted Jodie Comer as one of the greatest living actresses—“only because I’m retired, of course,” she added.
Toward the end of the evening, Few got up and toasted his friend Gwyneth in a more serious vein. “I’m amazed at the way you get things done, and you’re a true person of your word,” he said, turning to the rest of the table. “If this woman believes in something, there’s nothing that can stop her, and I love her for it.”
