Dune Is Returning To IMAX Theaters For One Night Only With An Exclusive Dune 2 Sneak Peek

Maybe hold out on cueing up Hans Zimmer’s booming score for the millionth time on Spotify, because sci-fi/fantasy fans are about to blow out their eardrums and melt their eyeballs once “Dune” arrives in IMAX later this month. Mark down January 24, 2024, at 7 PM on your calendar, as that’s when IMAX theaters will once again carve out room for Denis Villeneuve’s saga-sized film, based on author Frank Herbert’s classic 1965 novel. You can head on over to the official “Dune: Part Two” website to check whether your local theater is included in this re-release. Participating locations include — but aren’t limited to — New York City and California (duh), Atlanta, Ohio, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, Washington, DC, and, as a treat for our neighbors (er, neighbours?) up north, Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary are also participating.
