Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Referenced by American Airlines with Super Bowl Flights | News, Scores, Highlights, Stats, and Rumors

American Airlines added a number of flights between Kansas City and Las Vegas for the Super Bowl in two weeks, and referenced Patrick Mahomes, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce in the process, per ESPN.

One of the trips to Vegas and two returning back to Kansas City will be labeled as Flight 15, a nod to Mahomes’ number. There will also be a pair of Flight 1989s available from Kansas City to Vegas, a reference to one of Swift’s albums. And there will be a Flight 87 back to Kansas City in honor of Kelce’s jersey number.

“You could say that after [Sunday’s] games, we are in our football era, and we are thrilled to provide additional direct flights from Kansas City to Las Vegas,” American Airlines told the Associated Press in a statement. “To our customers who are huge sports fans, look what you made us do.”

NFL fans definitely aren’t fatigued from seeing Swift on broadcasts and hearing her constantly mentioned in discourse surrounding the Chiefs, so another chance to be reminded of the relationship between her and Kelce will undoubtedly be met with open arms and reasonable feedback on the Internet.

Swifties and Chiefs fans will probably enjoy the gesture from American Airlines, however.
